.50 Cal Ricochets from 1000 Yards, Hits Shooter in Head

The unthinkable… A .50 cal bullet racing to a 1000 yard target, as the shooter anticipates a blow to his target. Seconds later, he is smacked in the head with his own lead.

This is crazy!

Man Frees Deer From Fence

A heroic effort by a homeowner, when he notices a deer with it’s legs stuck in his white picket fence.  Apparently, the family dog wouldn’t stop barking in the backyard.  The man went outside to see what was going on.  Brian Kelley, from Attleboro, Massachusetts, couldn’t believe his eye!

Brian helped this doe to safety!  Watch this awesome video.

Backyard Buck Brawl – “Take It Outside!”

Did you ever fight with your siblings as a kid and your mom come in screaming, “TAKE IT OUTSIDE!”

Pretty much everyday for me.

And so the two biggest bucks anywhere in New York did just that…

How amazing would it be to capture this in your own back yard?

Researcher Attacked After Freeing Moose Calf

Tracking, studying and researching wild game is important for the survival of many species.  Many states take it upon themselves to watch the patterns of of large wild game that typically move in herds.  Well, that’s the case in Maine.

Wes Livingston of Maine Department of Wildlife found out what makes the job a little less enjoyable.  A job that you get to watch, admire and capture live footage of animals, be unenjoyable?  Please.

Well, upon freeing a baby calf that Livingston was tagging, the animal turns on him.  Violently, the moose gives Livingston a couple of jabs with it’s closed hooves.

Poor guy.  This could have been really bad. A must see!

Timelapse of Taxidermist Mounting a Deer

It takes a special type of person to be a taxidermist.  A taxidermist is none other than an individual with extreme patients, attention to detail and ability to create art with the hands.  Oh, we can’t forget, one with a passion for animals and the outdoors.

Watch Tim, from McLagan’s Taxidermy, mount this Oregon mule deer from a timelapsed video.  Start to finish, it’s 5 minutes.  Well worth the time!

Deer Stuck in Trap, AKA Tomato Cage

You just never know what kind you’re going to find in your garden.  Rabbits. Squirrels. Snakes. Birds. Chipmunks. DEER! There they are, smashing your yearly vegetable and fruit harvest… Those little pain in the rear critters.

Even this time of year, it’s not shocking that a deer would pass through to eat your winterized garden.  He’s just scavenging for any crumbs because his options are pretty low.

Regardless, it doesn’t matter.  You might as well set up that deer trap you’ve been working on…  I’ll refer to it as the unintentional deer trap!  Great for catching button bucks!

Watch this video of a man finding a button buck trapped in a tomato cage and forced to cut him free!  Isn’t wildlife amazing…

Lucky Bambi Avoids Blast

This would be much more exciting if… well you know…

What appears to be a small doe happened to wonder into a construction site. A construction blasting site to be exact…

If not for the warning siren… we would have seen it… Exploding venison.

Moose Fight Ends in Death

asdjvijwenwvdasdlijwienvx – or whatever they are saying….

I can’t understand these folks and you probably can’t either.

What we can understand is what’s going on in the video.  Two massive bull moose’ fighting.  It isn’t an intense battle, but similar to boxing and MMA, one wrong move and it could end your day.

Watch this square off…
